W. Harrell Everett, Jr.
Our most experienced attorney, W. Harrell Everett, Jr.,
has made his home in Goldsboro for over 35 years. Harrell and his
wife, a homemaker and full time volunteer, have raised two daughters and
are active in the community and in their church. Harrell received
his A.B. from the University of North Carolina in 1957 and his LL.B. from the
University of North Carolina School of Law in 1962. He has served as
the City Attorney for Goldsboro since 1973. He has held leadership
positions in the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina
Municipal Attorneys Association, the Chamber of Commerce, the Wayne County
Bar Association and the Goldsboro Rotary Club. He is admitted to
practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Fourth Circuit Court of
Appeals, the Federal District Court, and all trial and appellate courts of
North Carolina. |

James D. Womble, Jr.
When citizens of Wayne County and eastern North Carolina
are looking for a real estate attorney, James D. Womble, Jr. is at
the head of the list. Jim and his wife, a teacher at Wayne
Community College, have made their home in Goldsboro for over a quarter of
a century, raising two sons here. They enjoy all Goldsboro has to
offer and are actively involved in supporting the arts and many other
community activities. Jim was educated at the University of North
Carolina, receiving his A.B. in 1968 and his J.D. in 1972. He has
held leadership positions in the Wayne County Bar Association, the
Goldsboro Kiwanis Association, the Mental Health Association of Wayne
County, and the Wayne Area Mental Health Board. A member of the
North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina State Bar, and the
American Bar Association, he is admitted to practice in the Federal

Ronald T. Lawrence, II
Ronald T. Lawrence, II, is a dynamic, hardworking trial
attorney. Ron has successfully handled over a thousand personal
injury and workers' compensation cases. Ron has lived
in eastern North Carolina since high school. He attended the
School of Design at North Carolina State University from 1983 to 1985
and then transferred to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington
where he was the captain of the tennis team and an All-Colonial Athletic
Association Scholar-Athlete. Ron earned his B.A. in Political
Science in 1988 from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and his J.D. from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of
Law at Campbell University in 1995. Active in community matters,
he has and continues to serve on the Board of Directors for the Wayne
County Boys and Girls Club, the Downtown Goldsboro Development
Commission and the Wayne County Partnership for Children.
Ron is in his second term as President of the Exchange Club of Goldsboro, a civic organization
which concentrates its efforts on supporting children and women's
programs in the community, such as the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts, and
the 4-H Clubs. Ron focuses his practice on trials and civil
litigation. He is admitted to practice in all trial and appellate
courts of North Carolina and the Federal Court for the Eastern District
of North Carolina.

Darrell K. Brown
Darrell K. Brown is the newest partner of
Everett, Womble, Finan Lawrence & Brown, LLP. Darrell has handle
hundreds of domestic, criminal and civil cases including complicated
litigation. Darrell and his wife, a stay at home mom, are raising a
girl and boy set of twins, Hallie and Hunter. Darrell was born in
Sanford, North Carolina and grew up in Lillington, North Carolina. He
has spent his entire life in eastern North Carolina. Darrell is active
in his community by his involvement in the Kiwanis Club and the
Kiwanis's train located at Herman Park in Goldsboro. He is an active
member and part of the leadership at First Baptist Church in Goldsboro.
Darrell focuses his practice on Business Law, Civil Litigation, Family
Law, Collections, Criminal Law and Traffic Citations. If you are

attorney. Darrell received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Campbell
